About The School

History

Akron Testing Laboratory and Welding School was founded in 1953 and is currently a limited liability company. The welding school has been in its current location since 1979 at 1171 Wooster Road N., Barberton, Ohio.

Placement Services

Akron Testing Laboratory and Welding School CANNOT guarantee employment. The school's placement office maintains contact with local employers currently seeking qualified welders. All students wishing aid in finding employment should contact the school's director. The director will aid the student in setting up appointments to meet with potential employers.

Program Objective

The objective of the school's program is to teach welding to interested students. To offer the student a program and environment in which they can learn different welding processes and develop their skills to meet industrial standards.
