GTAW Welding

class description

This section is designed to train students in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding. This process requires more skill and ability, since the materials used tend to be more delicate and costly. GTAW is the principle process used to weld thin materials, especially Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Molybdenum, and other specialty metals. This highly sought after skill is employed in aero-space plants, fabrication shops, chemical and nuclear plants, medical facilities, and military uses. This course will prepare the student for GTAW welding in steel and aluminum fabrication shops.
